…. people fixed their problems face to face. They communicated to each other their issues. One either apologized, and they made up. Or they did not apologize, and agreed the friendship/acquaintance/relationship was over.
Now someone just deletes you on one of their Social Media accounts and hope you get the message. No discussion, no chance to apologize for mistakes. No communication.
Just another reason why normal social media sites are just ruining human interaction…
It may help in a few ways… but mostly it just hurts.
If you can’t tell. Today I made a mistake. I’m only human, and I’m allowed to do that every now and then. That’s how you learn in life. I’ve felt bad ever since then. I felt attacked and lashed out when it wasn’t even towards me, and now it is towards me. And I got deleted. It’s way more complicated than just that, and I am mature enough (from last mistakes in the past!) to know not to talk about it other than what I tweeted. That’s the problem with instant social media websites though. You get in the moment and sometimes you post things you shouldn’t,and if you weren’t in the moment you wouldn’t have posted it. I really wish I could apologize now, but with the situation, it’s just not possible.
So today I learned that it is important to think and calm down before you tweet an angry or not-so-nice tweet.
Or set up a secret twitter account that no one knows about and rant there without hurting anyone’s feelings. looool.
But in all seriousness, I’m better than what I did today.
And to that person, if you happen by this…
I’m classier than that.
I briefly succumbed to my youthful idiocy and I’m very sorry for that.
And that’s my Tumblr confession for the day.
Something to grow from, definitely. :)
